The MIT Facilities Archive was typically reserved for internal staff, but MIT has made recent efforts to showcase some of their most famous buildings. The three exhibits range from the original 1913 Cambridge main group to the modernist post-war construction of the 1950s and 1960s. By combining original architectural documents with photographs and historical analysis, they showcase why MIT's campus is uniquely significant (and innovative) in the history of American architecture.
