If you’re heading out to California for RECORDS *ARCHIVES 2025 in a couple weeks and have some spare time to explore, head up to the Getty to check out an exhibition on queer photography from the mid-19th century to the present. The exhibit explores photography as an important, accessible medium that has shaped the way queerness is expressed, even in times of turmoil. Admission is free!

If you can’t make it out to California, I still encourage you to take a look at some of the exhibit's digitized selected works.

BONUS: Queer Lens on Los Angeles: Artists’ POV virtual and in-person talk on Sunday, Aug 17 at 1pm PST!
