Hello, I am the VMS Webmaster, Alan Renga. I am the Digital Archivist at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, where I have worked since 2002. I have a B.A. in history from University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.A. in history, with an emphasis on the Holocaust, from San Diego State University. I am the project manager for the effort to digitize and make accessible SDASM’s vast image, film and document collection, of which we currently have over 300,000 online. I also provide support and implementation for the Piction Digital Asset Management System, and I teach History at Grossmont College. My publications include Aviation in San Diego, Pacific Southwest Airlines, and San Diego International Airport: Lindbergh Field. When I am not doing History stuff, I am chasing after my crazy 6 year old twins!
